Hays is looking for an IT Manager for one of its clients active in financial services. The organisation develops and operates digital solutions for professional users and places strong importance on reliability, scalability, and information security. Your new role
As IT Manager, you will be responsible for the governance, performance, and security of the IT infrastructure while leading a small internal IT team. You act as a bridge between technical operations and business needs, with a strong focus on service quality and continuous improvement.
Your responsibilities include:
1. Managing and coaching an internal IT team, setting priorities, planning activities, and supporting professional development
2. Overseeing IT operations, including infrastructure availability, performance, and security
3. Taking ownership of Incident Management and Change Management processes, aligned with ITIL best practices
4. Leading infrastructure and cloud-related projects from planning to delivery, ensuring scope, timing, and quality
5. Managing the IT budget, including forecasting, cost control, and coordination with external partners
6. Defining and maintaining procedures, documentation, and operational standards
7. Ensuring a high level of information security and contributing to compliance and risk management initiatives
8. Collaborating with stakeholders across the organisation to align IT services with business objectives
This role requires both strategic oversight and hands‑on involvement in a complex IT environment.
Your profile
You are a senior IT professional with strong leadership skills and experience managing infrastructure in structured environments. You combine technical expertise with organisation, communication, and people‑management capabilities.You bring:
9. Proven experience in team management, including coaching, task planning, and performance follow‑up
10. Solid background in IT infrastructure and cloud environments
11. Experience in project management, including resource planning and stakeholder coordination
12. Familiarity with ITIL processes, particularly Incident Management and Change Management
13. Experience with budget management or cost control within an IT context
14. Strong awareness of IT security principles and operational risk
15. A structured and pragmatic working style, with the ability to set priorities
16. Fluent in French and English ️
You are comfortable operating in a role that combines leadership, governance, and operational responsibility.
