We are looking for a Franchisee Recruitment and Reputation Consultant who will be responsible for attracting and onboarding a diverse pipeline of dynamic, values-driven franchisees to support McDonald’s growth strategy in Spain. This role plays a key part in shaping the brand’s reputation as a franchisor of choice by leading recruitment campaigns, managing candidate experiences, and representing the brand at key industry events. The consultant ensures a seamless and professional recruitment journey while promoting McDonald’s as an inclusive and forward-thinking franchise opportunity.
What will key accountabilities be?
Attraction and reputation:
* Plan, prepare, and represent McDonald’s at industry events (e.g., exhibitions, business shows, webinars).
* Explore new channels and partnerships to attract candidates from diverse backgrounds.
* Leverage internal communication platforms to promote the franchisee journey.
* Lead the annual in-house social media campaign focused on franchisee recruitment.
* Oversee the recruitment website and ensure content is current and engaging.
* Collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute recruitment marketing campaigns.
Recruitment and Onboarding processes
* Manage the end-to-end candidate experience through the recruitment pipeline.
* Maintain and update the RA Tracker to ensure accurate candidate records.
* Coordinate onboarding processes post-panel interviews, including timely follow-up and documentation.
* Collaborate with Field Service to support Next Generation candidates and with Board Members to Key Employees.
* Work cross-functionally with Legal, Finance, and Field Service teams to reduce time-to-store for new franchisees.
* Maintain the recruitment calendar and ensure alignment with project timelines.
* Prepare reports and presentations on recruitment and reputation performance.
* Track and analyze recruitment data to inform decision-making and continuous improvement.
* Maintain up-to-date recruitment materials and manage departmental communications.
* Benchmark recruitment best practices across the sector and McDonald’s global markets.
* Continuously refine the franchisee profile and recruitment process to reflect evolving business needs.
Decision-making (most important decisions made independently by role)
* Candidate Pipeline Management - Independently screens and filters candidates based on alignment with the franchisee profile, ensuring only qualified and values-aligned individuals progress through the recruitment process.
* Recruitment Campaign Strategy - Determines the timing, messaging, and channels for recruitment campaigns and events, based on market trends, candidate engagement data, and brand positioning goals.
* Event and Representation Planning - Selects which industry events to attend and how to represent the brand, ensuring maximum visibility and alignment with strategic recruitment objectives.
* Reputation and Communication Tactics - Crafts and adjusts messaging for internal and external communications, including social media campaigns and recruitment materials, to enhance McDonald’s reputation as a franchisor of choice.
* Process Optimization - Identifies inefficiencies in the recruitment and onboarding process and implements improvements to reduce time-to-store and enhance candidate experience.
Position Requests
Experience
* Minimum 5 years of experience in recruitment, HR, or franchising-related roles.
* Proven ability to manage recruitment pipelines and deliver high-quality candidate experiences.
* Demonstrated success in cross-functional collaboration and project coordination.
Academic Studies / Knowledge
* English level B2
* College degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
* Knowledge of HR processes, recruitment systems, and employer branding
