As a Cloud Native Developer, you will play a pivotal role in complex cloud transformation and modernization projects. You combine a strategic advisory function with a hands-on execution role as an experienced developer. You translate architectural requirements into actionable roadmaps for application teams, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and security throughout the process.
Your responsibilities
Advisory & mentorship:
Team Coaching: Guide and train team members in developing applications within Azure, utilizing DevOps principles, CI/CD methodologies, and TerraForm.
Cloud Transition: Support application teams throughout the entire lifecycle of cloud applications, promoting best practices and modern architectures.
Standardization: Implement standard modules and best practices as defined by the Cloud Center of Excellence, focusing on efficiency and compliance.
Development & engineering
Infrastructure: Develop and maintain TerraForm Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to deploy application services into landing zones.
Application Building: Develop new functionalities and maintain ASP.NET Core Blazor applications.
Automation: Set up and manage full Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines (for both .NET application containers and Azure service deployment).
Optimization: Monitor and optimize Azure services and containers. Ensure performance through automation, monitoring, and scalability, while handling operational and financial optimizations.
Your profile
Experience & certification:
Minimum 5 years of experience in developing cloud-native applications in Azure using Agile methodologies and CI/CD principles.
Minimum 1 year of experience specifically with ASP.NET Core Blazor.
Possession of an Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204) or an Azure Expert-level certification.
Technical expertise:
Backend: Deep expertise in .NET (C# 8.0+), REST API development, and Minimal APIs.
Cloud & DevOps: Extensive experience with TerraForm, Docker (containerization), and Azure DevOps.
Architecture: In-depth knowledge of modern architectures: MicroServices, Serverless, SOLID principles, CQRS, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), TDD, and BDD.
Tech Stack: Proficiency with SQL, SignalR, Redis, CSS (Bootstrap/HTML5), and Dapr.
Language requirements:
Native proficiency in either Dutch or French.
A strong oral and written command of the second national language (FR or NL).
Passive knowledge of English is required.
Soft skills:
Strong communication skills in both technical and business contexts.
A proactive approach to solving complex technical challenges.
The ability to formally and informally mentor teams.
