As procurement & Fleet officer you are the supporting pillar for everything related to procurement and fleet management. You ensure that our fleet and procurement activities run smoothly, efficiently, and in line with company policy, car policy and budget. You combine strong administrative ownership with hands-on supplier coordination, fleet management, and procurement support. What will you do in this role? Your role will have a dual focus on: Fleet management You are the central point of contact for all operational fleet activities. You take care of the constantly changing fleet, including replacement of vehicles, end of lease, vehicles of onboarding and offboarding colleagues, inspection of vehicles, follow op of reparations, … Management of pool vehicles is also a part of your fleet management responsibilities. You manage and control our fuel and charging cards, including reporting for audit and consumption checks. You keep an eye on our stock and support the orders of new vehicles, including assessment of options that fit the budget, requesting and comparing offers, … Through the ticketing system and mailbox, you ensure timely and correct answers to our internal colleagues for all their fleet related questions. The car policy provides you with the ideal framework to address their needs and concerns. Procurement You support and prepare supplier negotiations, including a timely follow up of contract renewals. You monitor supplier performance, pricing agreements and service levels. In order to ensure a qualitative evaluation of our suppliers and their performance, you process input of other departments and the different depots. Supporting the different departments with their purchasing needs and contract negotiations and coordinating purchase orders. Preparation of basic reports, audits and evaluations. A minimum of 3 years of experience in administrative functions is required, a background in fleet management and/or procurement through experience or a bachelor’s degree would be an added value. You have strong administrative accuracy and attention to detail. You combine a proactive approach and a pragmatic mindset: you think in solutions, not in obstacles. Taking ownership and working independently comes natural to you. To succeed in this role communication skills are essential, a quality you combine with negotiation skills or a willingness to develop these skills further. You are fluent in English, French and Dutch, or minimal 2 of these languages.
