The Commercial Cost Controller is responsible for leading the monthly and annual financial cycle (budgeting, closing and forecasting) for marketing & zone commercial function across all the countries of Western Europe, ensuring resource allocation aligned with the commercial strategy, driving non-working money optimization while maintaining high financial forecast accuracy for the European Marketing package & the Overheads of the function.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Participation in the annual resource allocation between European Markets & the brands.

2. Ensure a timely and accurate tracking & monitoring of the Marketing financial performance of all countries on the monthly closing.

3. Review actual results and key variances against budget and forecast.

4. Perform closing activities (accruals, journals, reclassification) and perform monthly forecast (also upload it to Anaplan).

5. Perform the monthly reconciliation between ZBB systems: ZBB Anaplan and Cognos.

6. Ensure compliance with accounting principles, AB InBev standards, policies and procedures.

7. Responsible for ensuring an accurate and timely delivery of the management reporting and providing the desired visibility into the financial performance of the main KPI´s and/or business plans.

8. Maintain close relationship with stakeholders (e.g. Brand Marketing teams, Zone FP&A teams, Control, Functional PPMs).

9. Identify and ensure implementation of process and system enhancements to continuously improve operations.

10. Adhoc analysis on Marketing actuals/LE/previous years.

Who We’re Looking For:

11. 3+ years of experience in Finance, Performance Planning, or Audit.

12. Fluency in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

13. Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to create impactful reports and presentations.

14. Strong leadership skills, including the ability to inspire and guide teams.

15. A solid understanding of financial concepts and transactions, paired with a sharp analytical mindset.
