Director, Regional Sales - New Business EMEA
We are seeking an experienced and strategic sales leader to build and lead a high‑performing new business sales function across EMEA. The successful candidate will design and execute an effective regional sales strategy, lead and mentor a team of Account Executives, and collaborate closely with marketing, enablement, and operations teams to optimize pipeline and deal cycles.
Responsibilities
Lead a distributed team of Account Executives focused on winning new logos and achieving first‑order revenue targets across EMEA.
Develop, implement, and refine a scalable new business sales strategy, targeting both whitespace and installed‑base accounts.
Drive consistent pipeline generation, opportunity progression, and efficient deal cycles through data‑driven sales management.
Collaborate with marketing, sales operations, and enablement teams to design campaigns, test new motions, and refine processes for new business growth.
Hire, onboard, and coach high‑performing Account Executives, providing guidance on territory planning, opportunity management, negotiation, and deal structuring.
Represent the organization with executive‑level stakeholders, building trusted relationships and reinforcing value propositions.
Partner with regional and global leadership to scale the new business sales function and share best practices across teams.
Qualifications
Proven experience leading high‑performing, distributed sales teams in SaaS, DevOps, or open‑source environments.
Track record in new logo acquisition and generating net‑new revenue across large, complex territories.
Experience designing and executing scalable sales strategies for mixed account bases across multiple countries.
Proficiency with CRM and sales enablement tools such as Salesforce, Clari, Gong, and Outreach.
Strong skills in relationship building, deal negotiation, and executive‑level communication.
Deep understanding of regional market dynamics, cultural nuances, and go‑to‑market strategies in EMEA.
Ability to balance strategic planning with hands‑on support for active sales opportunities.
Openness to diverse leadership and sales backgrounds, demonstrating success in complex B2B environments.
