About the role
Strive to optimise the efficiency of available resources (drivers, trucks and capacity), taking into account priorities and constraints, such that the customer and employer are satisfied.
Tasks:
1. Collection of data on transport orders;
2. Entry of transport orders in the proprietary system;
3. Planning of trips;
4. Outsourcing transport assignments to subcontractors;
5. Confirming orders to the client;
6. Assigning transport assignments to drivers according to priorities and available resources;
7. Follow-up of assignments, both during and after execution;
8. Completing the necessary documents to enable the execution of the trip planning.

Are you the perfect fit?
9. Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in a Freight Forwarding role within Road transportation;
10. You can speak and write fluently in Dutch and English;
11. Knowledge of proprietary operational procedures and Transport Management System.
