Project Manager Space & Defense - Optical Instrumentation
Your Role & Challenges
* Under the supervision of the Business Line Officer, and as a member of the development team, you take responsibility for projects aimed at developing new equipment or improving existing ones.
* The projects you will run apply to Space & Defense activities: satellite visible or IR optical systems, scientific payloads, and defense and security-related optical systems.
* You define and manage the project management roadmap, leading the project team members consisting of system, mechanical, optical, electrical, and software engineers.
* You ensure the completion of the different steps from specifications to prototyping, in line with the requested planning and budget.
* You verify that quality standards and regulations are met, together with our PA and QA team.
* You also manage the documentation as well as internal and external reporting.
* You are in close contact with customers and organize follow-up meetings to present project results and progress.
* You bring your operational, technical, and leadership skills to ensure the success of each project.
Your Profile
* You hold a Master's degree in Engineering or Science (Aerospace, Electromechanics, Mechanics, Physics, etc.).
* You have 10 years of work experience, with at least 3 years managing projects, ideally with a technological development spirit and in the Space and/or Defense industry.
* You have an excellent command of English; knowledge of French is a real asset.
* You have at least theoretical knowledge in optics.
* You easily integrate into a multidisciplinary team and are recognized for your rigor, hands-on attitude, and ability to manage stakeholders.
* You organize your work efficiently to supply your deliverables according to planning.
* You have the ability to work on several projects in parallel.
