Building on our successful fundraising efforts, we are excited to expand our Value Enhancement Team by adding an Analyst/Associate in the near future.
Main expected tasks and responsibility:
* Assist senior executives of the deal team throughout the entire investment lifecycle, with a particular focus on balance sheet restructuring and operational turnaround.
* Collaborate in the execution of due diligence, credit analysis, and financial analysis.
* Work with management teams of portfolio companies to prepare and implement business and strategic plans.
* Support senior executives in the governance of majority equity portfolio companies, including reshaping business models, refining strategies, and developing the equity story.
* Contribute to the preparation and execution of exit processes for portfolio companies.
* Assist in drafting investment papers and recommendations to be presented to the firm’s Executive Committee.
* Participate in the negotiation of transactional legal documentation.
* Help prepare transaction documents, marketing materials, and memorandums.
* Support the Portfolio and Finance teams during the closing of transactions.
* Assist senior executives in staff meetings, management meetings, and investment committee sessions.
* Contribute to the internal monitoring of portfolio companies by reviewing monthly operating results and updating financial models and performance reports, including ESG initiatives.
* Maintain an organized deal database and document filing system, ensuring compliance with records retention procedures.
* Always uphold confidentiality.
Requirements:
* English and 2 other European languages (one of them preferably being French, Spanish, Italian, German).
* 2 to 4 years of relevant professional experience in business consulting, private equity, private debt, restructuring advisory.
* Solid quantitative, financial, and analytical skills and advanced MS Excel and modelling skills.
* Ability to identify and proactively engage in unforeseen investment situations with a focus on capital preservation.
