As a Sales Support Operations Associate, you’ll be part of our Benelux Local Sales Team and report directly to the Sales Director Benelux. Working within the Benelux Sales team, you play a key role in driving commercial growth and developing strong customer relationships, focussing on the Belgian market. About the Job Explore new opportunities and convert leads into prospects and active trading customers. Hand over high‑potential leads to the Outside Sales team for further follow‑up. Monitor the Sales Mailbox and handle incoming customer requests. Prepare and execute spot quotes for your own leads and customers. Execute spot quotes from Sales Executives’ portfolios, including mandatory follow‑up calls. Use systems such as HISA/CRM and HITS/Pricing Tools; create quotes independently when needed. Maintain the quote database to track performance, conversion, and hit ratios. Set up, implement, and maintain customer SOPs and agreements (order to payment). Manage complete customer onboarding within Hellmann. Train and guide operational teams on customer‑specific procedures. Monitor and steer customer-specific KPIs to ensure service excellence. Handle exceptions for live customers. Ensure a structured handover to Operations or Account Management within one year. Prepare monthly reports on ad hoc quotation success. Monitor and steer customer KPI achievement. Provide ad hoc support to Field Sales Representatives in alignment with the Sales Director. About You You have solid and relevant experience in Forwarding (Air and/or Sea). You possess strong operational insight and ideally bring hands‑on experience as a Forwarder, complemented by a first commercial experience. You are bilingual Dutch/French and have a professional command of English, both spoken and written. You easily recognize commercial opportunities, enjoy personal customer interaction, and have a hands-on approach. You are a true team player who brings positive energy and enthusiasm to the workplace.
