Robotics Validation & Test Engineering Coordinator
We provide innovative solutions for robotized mowing technologies and outdoor power equipment (OPE).
To grow further, address new markets and better serve our customers, we are looking for a Robotics Validation & Test Engineering Coordinator to join our R&D Team, based in Wavre, Belgium.
As Test Coordinator Robotics, you will coordinate the validation and field-testing activities of our autonomous outdoor robots. You will play a key role in ensuring that our robotic platforms, embedded software, and connected services are reliable, safe, and ready for deployment in real operating conditions.
Working closely with software, mechanical, electronics, systems engineering, and validation teams, you will translate project needs into structured test campaigns and ensure effective coordination from planning through execution and reporting.
Planning and coordinating test campaigns
Translate test requests into structured test plans with clear objectives, scope, priorities, and expected outcomes.
Assign test activities to the appropriate robots, test benches, and test fields, including R&D alpha testing and customer beta testing.
Coordinate the preparation, shipment, installation, and readiness of test machines.
Supporting test execution and follow-up
Build and maintain test planning aligned with project milestones and development priorities.
Execute sprint planning, daily follow-up meetings, and coordination with test technicians.
Monitor test progress and report results, risks, issues, and feedback to project stakeholders.
Managing test infrastructure and resources
Ensure the availability, maintenance, and proper use of the robot test fleet, test benches, and related equipment.
Identify, secure, and maintain suitable R&D test fields to support current and future validation needs.
Optimise the use of test machines, test benches, and fields to support effective resource planning.
Contribute to the standardisation of test methodologies, reporting practices, templates, and supporting tools.
You hold a Master’s degree in Engineering , preferably in mechanical, systems, or a related engineering discipline;
You have experience in mechatronics , ideally within robotics, automotive, medical devices, railway, or another complex technical environment;

You have a strong background in test planning, validation, and coordination of technical activities;
You combine broad engineering knowledge across mechanics, electronics, software, telecommunications, and sensors with a solid understanding of robotic system design, integration, and validation ;
An interest in outdoor robotics, GNSS-based systems , or mobile robots is considered a strong plus.
You take a solution-oriented and pragmatic approach to addressing engineering and validation challenges;
You are an effective communicator both in oral and written form , able to share information clearly with technical teams, project stakeholders, and external partners and to generate structured test documentation;
You have a hands-on mindset and are comfortable working close to the product, test environment, and field operations.
Languages
~ You are proficient in English and able to work in French . Knowledge of Dutch, German, or Japanese is an asset.
