European Finance Director – Tielt
An international company backed by Private Equity, located in Tielt, is seeking an experienced European Finance Director.
This pivotal role carries full financial responsibility for Benelux operations and involves establishing and leading a scalable European Finance Hub to support ongoing growth and future acquisitions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide strategic leadership for all European finance activities, including planning, reporting, and compliance
* Full ownership of P&L and financial performance for Benelux, with responsibility for delivering on budgeted targets and supporting operational decision-making
* Lead harmonization of ERP systems and data governance across European entities
* Oversee financial consolidation, intercompany reconciliations, transfer pricing, and tax compliance
* Build, lead, and develop a high-performing finance team
* Act as a business partner to senior leadership, supporting growth initiatives and M&A integration
* Drive process automation and reporting enhancements, including data warehouse integration
* Manage external audit relationships and ensure statutory compliance across jurisdictions
Your Profile
* You have at least 10 years of experience in a similar role
* You are fluent in English and Dutch
* You like to work in dynamic environment and have ideally a first experience with PE backed up companies.
