- As a Functional Analyst, you are responsible for the technical blueprint of the solution. You ensure that developers know exactly what to build to meet the business needs.- Technical Translation: Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications, use cases, and user stories.- Data & Logic Modelling: Create logical data models, flowcharts, and diagrams (UML, BPMN) to visualize system behavior.- API & Integration: Define interfaces and integration points between different systems (REST, SOAP, etc.).- Quality Assurance: Work closely with the testing team to define test scenarios and ensure the final delivery matches the functional design.- Bridge Builder: Act as the primary point of contact for developers and architects during the build phase to clarify complex logic.
