About the role
Our client is Belgium’s leading media intelligence and data analysis company. By combining expertise and powerful algorithms, our client transforms media data into strategic insights that help top Belgian brands manage their reputation and make informed decisions.
As Business Developer, your mission is to drive growth in the Belgian market by managing the full sales cycle and building long-term strategic relationships with clients. You will work closely with the Sales Manager and the Chief Growth Officer to expand market share and strengthen client portfolios.
End-to-End Sales Leadership You own and drive the full commercial process, from first contact to deal closure, ensuring a structured and high-impact sales approach.
6. Identify, qualify and proactively engage new prospects across Belgium
7. Conduct compelling demos in collaboration with Presales and Customer Success
8. Lead contract negotiations and successfully close deals
9. Manage your pipeline with rigor and accountability
Portfolio Growth & Client Development You combine new business acquisition with strategic account development to maximize long-term value.
10. Convert inbound leads into new opportunities
11. Identify and develop new commercial prospects within the Belgian market
12. Detect upsell and cross-sell opportunities among existing clients
13. Ensure strong follow-up and manage contract renewals

Strategic Client Engagement You act as a strategic advisor by translating client challenges into tailored media intelligence solutions.
15. Understand client needs and propose customized value-driven solutions
16. Prepare documentation for calls for tender
17. Adapt your communication style to different stakeholders (PR teams, agencies, C-level executives)
18. Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Presales and Customer Success to maximize impact
About the ideal candidate
19. You have at least years of experience in Business Development, Sales or Account Management
20. You hold a background in Sales, Marketing, Business or similar
21. You have a strong interest in media, brands and reputation management
22. You thrive in teamwork and collaborate naturally with cross-functional teams
23. You adopt a solution-selling mindset and focus on delivering real client value
24. You demonstrate strong negotiation and closing skills with a results-driven approach
25. You work autonomously, with flexibility and ownership
26. You communicate fluently in French, Dutch and English
