Job Description
As
Freelance Senior Accountant
, you will :
* Lead and coordinate the month-end and year-end closing processes ;
* Prepare closing entries, accruals, provisions, and related reconciliations ;
* Perform and review monthly bank reconciliations and other balance sheet reconciliations;
* Ensure the accuracy of general ledger accounts by overseeing journal entries, adjustments, and reconciliations ;
* Support the external accounting firm in the preparation of tax and regulatory filings like VAT ;
* Oversee cash flow management to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational and investment needs ;
* Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and accuracy ;
The Successful Applicant
A successful
Freelance Senior Accountant
should have:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field;
* Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles;
* Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles ;
* Proficiency in Odoo ;
* Fluent in Dutch or French, and English ;
