Hong Kong - Remote

We are seeking a detail-oriented and hands-on accounting professional to join our team as an Assistant Manager. The ideal candidate will have 3 years of experience, including 1-2 years in audit, and strong expertise in day-to-day accounting operations, financial consolidation, and audit coordination. This role is critical in ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance for the company

Responsibilities
Perform and oversee daily accounting tasks, including data entries, reconciliations, and ledger maintenance.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of AP/AR, payroll, and other transactional accounting activities.
Proficiency with accounting systems (e.g., Xero) to maximize the efficiency and maintain proper financial records.
Lead the month-end closing process, ensuring deadlines are met.
Consolidate financial statements from multiple subsidiaries, resolving intercompany discrepancies.
Prepare monthly management reports with variance analysis.
Coordinate with external auditors for financial audits.
Prepare audit schedules, supporting documents, and respond to auditor inquiries.
Ensure compliance with Hong Kong tax regulations and financial reporting requirements.
Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and enhance reporting efficiency.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional Qualification: CPA (HKICPA/ACCA/AICPA or equivalent) preferred.
3+ years in accounting/finance, with 1-2 years in audit (Big 4/mid-tier firm experience a plus.
Hands-on experience with accounting software (Xero, SAP, Oracle, etc.).
Exposure to consolidation for group structures preferred.
Strong knowledge of HKFRS/IFRS and month-end closing processes.
Advanced Google Sheets and/or Excel skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Fluent in English and Cantonese, Mandarin is a plus.
