Job description
* As a Project Controls Engineer, you play a key role in large, complex, and strategically important projects where engineering, planning, and management come together
* Working for our client means being part of a consultancy firm that operates for the biggest players in the construction sector
* From project to project, you act as the “smart friend” of the client, where IT and construction meet
* You ensure that projects are not only planned, but also strategically managed
* By identifying risks, scenarios, and dependencies, the project team is provided with the tools to make well-founded decisions
* In meetings, complex information is translated into clear choices, supported by solid analysis
* You advise the project manager across various project controls domains
* The technical interdependencies of complex projects are translated into a clear and integrated project schedule
* You are responsible for the planning and control process, including scenario, risk, and delay analyses
* Support is provided to the project team regarding changes and claims
* Project management software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project is used for all analyses
The ideal candidate meets the following requirements
* A master’s degree in a technical or related field (e.g. civil engineering, industrial engineering, or similar)
* The master’s degree is recognized by NARIC or a Belgian diploma
* Experience in a similar role within complex technical projects, or a strong willingness to develop in this area
* Knowledge of planning and project controls software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project is essential
* Strong skills in scenario and risk analysis, with the ability to clearly communicate solutions and advice to stakeholders
* A proactive mindset combined with strong communication and analytical skills
* Fluent in English Dutch and/or French are a plus
