Responsibilities
* Design, film, edit, and publish a full range of platform‑tailored multimedia content (reels, edited videos, animations, photos, graphics, and other visuals) for NATO digital ecosystem.
* Lead and oversee strategic multimedia production, ensuring high‑quality output delivered on time and to NATO’s standards.
* Coordinate multimedia content through the approvals process, manage version control, and upload to NATO website ensuring proper archival and metadata compliance.
* Prepare B‑roll packages, scripts, shot lists, and collaterals for use by international media, and manage releases and releases management.
* Keep abreast of social media trends and digital platforms, exploring new techniques to increase engagement; deploy to demanding environments as required and maintain pre‑deployment training.
* Deputize for the Head of Multimedia and provide editorial and production support to external contractors.
* Perform any other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience
* University degree in communication, journalism or a relevant field.
* At least 3 years’ experience as a multimedia producer for social media platforms (or related role), with expertise in visual storytelling and bespoke content creation.
* Sound political judgment and knowledge of current geopolitical events.
* Proven expertise in dealing with external media crews, production companies and in non‑linear editing software, particularly Adobe Premiere Pro.
* Minimum NATO official language levels: V in one (English/French) and I in the other.
* Advantage: knowledge of other Adobe Creative Suite software; agency environment experience; experience presenting on camera; higher level in the other official language.

Contract & Compensation
Salary: €5,234.63 (Pay Basis). Contract: 3‑year definite duration, renewable for up to 3 additional years, with possibility to convert to indefinite duration contract. Maximum period of service foreseen is 6 years. Applicable to non‑seconded and seconded staff subjects to national authority agreement.
