We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Director to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, establishing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and partners, and driving the growth and profitability of our organization within the markets of EMEA.
Key responsibilities:
Provide strategic leadership for the EMEA Sales, Technical Pre-Sales and Channels teams, providing them with the necessary coaching, training, resources, and support to effectively sell and promote our products/services.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, stakeholders, and potential clients through effective networking and face-to-face meetings.
Support the sales team to prepare and deliver persuasive presentations, proposals, and business plans to prospective clients, effectively communicating our value proposition and unique business value.
Support the sales team in negotiating and closing business deals, contracts, and agreements with clients or in support of partners, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes and long-term partnerships.
Work with the local channel team to support our channel partners to develop joint business plans, set sales targets, and execute marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness and generate leads.
Conduct quarterly business reviews (QBR) with your sales and channel staff as well as key channel partners to assess performance, address challenges, and identify opportunities for improvement.
Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.
Additional Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, and product development, to ensure alignment and successful execution of local business strategies.
Identify and research potential business opportunities in the local market, including target industries, companies, and market trends, recommending adjustments to business strategies as needed.
Develop and implement comprehensive channel strategies to expand our client base, increase revenue, and achieve sales targets.
Work with Channel Management to identify and recruit potential channel partners, including distributors, resellers, and value-added resellers (VARs), that align with our business goals and target customer segments.
Education / Qualifications
A bachelor's or master's degree in relevant studies is preferred.
7+ years' experience in business development, sales, channel management, or similar commercial roles, in software industry, covering the EMEA market.
Experience selling in the AEC and/or Manufacturing sectors.
Excellent understanding of the local business environment, market dynamics, and cultural nuances.
Strong track record of being a self-starter to successfully identify, pursue, and close business deals to consistently achieve or exceed sales targets.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively negotiate with partners and clients at all levels.
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic business plans, including market analysis, target setting, and forecasting.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
Excellent level of English both written and spoken. Any other European language will be a strong asset.
Ability to travel within the region and WW for team events and meetings.
