Are you a passionate leader with a drive for innovation in product development and quality management? Key Door Components is seeking an experienced R&D Manager to oversee our Quality, Research & Development, and Project Management functions.
Pivotal role in enhancing product offerings and ensuring compliance & quality with industry standards
As the R&D Manager, you will enhance product quality and reduce non-conformities to ensure that our offerings meet the highest standards. You will lead the development of innovative panels and hardware that align with market needs, driving our commitment to innovation. Additionally, you will optimize production processes to strengthen the competitiveness of our factory, ensuring we remain a leader in the industry. Your role will also involve ensuring customer satisfaction and the technical reliability of delivered products, reinforcing our dedication to excellence in every aspect of our operations. In order to do so, you will:
1. Define, maintain, and elevate the quality management system to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
2. Supervise quality control processes across all stages of production, addressing non-conformities through root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions to enhance product quality and customer satisfaction.
3. Manage non-conformities through root cause analysis, corrective actions, and customer complaint resolutions while monitoring satisfaction indicators.
4. Lead the development of innovative sandwich panels and associated hardware, while conducting technological and competitive monitoring.
5. Collaborate with production teams for industrialization of new products, coordinating technical trials, prototypes, and validation tests.
6. Plan and oversee industrial projects related to new equipment and process optimization, ensuring coordination across departments.
7. Develop comprehensive technical specifications and manage project budgets, timelines, and resources.
8. Implement project management tools and methodologies to drive efficiency and accountability.
9. Prepare and conduct internal and external audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
10. Foster strong partnerships with suppliers and technical collaborators to enhance product offerings.
11. Champion continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes and enhance product quality.
Excellent interpersonal & project management skills
12. Master’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Industrial Engineering, Materials, or a related field.
13. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the metallurgy, composites, or construction industries.
14. Proven experience in industrial product R&D.
15. Proven track record in project management and team leadership.
16. In-depth knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001, .
