Join the team as a Lab & Quality Assurance Analyst, where you'll play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of product quality and product safety. You'll be involved in a dynamic range of tasks from sampling and testing to customer interaction and quality systems management.
Your tasks
• Take samples and analyse them during the loading/unloading vessels/trucks/drums/bins and thus providing the company information in due time to take the right decision regarding customer release.
• Different types of controls involved: incoming products/blending/outgoing products/productions/drumfilling on following important parameters : Brix/acidity/ratio/viscosity/Vit C/jellyfication/color/microbiology/evaluation CIP effectivity/air control and others.
• Check external results from third party labs on special parameters ( chlorate, pesticides ,..) and release / block products in SAP reservation for specific customers.
• Contacts with commercial department in case of deviated results.
• Prepare and send representative product samples to customers according to procedures and report to customers and/or envolved sales department as well as R&D support on customers requests/visits.
• Ensure that the client specification is guaranteed for all deliveries and perform accordingly positive release in SAP.
• Help maintain the traceability of the products handled in the terminal and in investigation of customer claims.
• Follow the GLP/GMP/HACCP/FSSC22000 rules and quality procedures with the ability to perform internal audits and made recommendations for improvements.

• Follow up CIP/SIP processes and water quality of the waste water treatment.
• Fill out all forms/reports/certificates in due time as well as input all data in the SAP system via the specific authorised transactions and report deviations.
• Determine necessity for pasteurisation/concentration process, for cleaning operations on oceangoing vessels and advise related teams.
• Support Responsible quality in follow up of quality assurance (audits, procedures, forms, supplier, qualification, preparation of monthly reports,…)
Vereisten
• A degree in Chemistry, Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field.
• Prior experience in quality control, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
• Strong ability in conducting physical, chemical, and microbiological analyses.
• Competent MS Office/SharePoint
• Experience with SAP is a plus.
• Ability to interpret test results and suggest improvements in testing methodologies.
• Excellent communication abilities for direct customer interaction and internal collaboration.
• Familiarity with ISO/FSSC22000, HACCP, and other relevant quality and food safety practices.
• A collaborative spirit for participating in internal and external ring tests and flavor sessions.
• Flexibility to work weekends, shifts
• Meticulous attention to detail in preparing and reporting analytical data.
