Join our client, a prominent player in the FMCG sector, in a pivotal Sales Assistant role. This position is designed to provide essential administrative and coordination support to our dynamic sales and marketing teams, ensuring smooth daily operations and enabling our commercial efforts to thrive. You will be at the heart of our commercial activities, contributing significantly to our efficiency and client satisfaction.
* Sales & Administration
Your responsibilities cover a wide range of activities, including following up on customer activations, preparing and delivering technical product sheets, monitoring promotional activities, and completing customer-related documentation with accuracy and attention to detail.
A significant part of your role involves managing and verifying invoices across both retail and out-of-home (Horeca) channels. In addition, you will act as one of the two primary points of contact for our field teams in the Home, Impulse, and Horeca segments. You will assist them with operational tasks such as tracking parasols and fridges, coordinating events, and handling ad hoc requests. Through your proactive support, you help ensure that our teams can operate seamlessly and deliver exceptional service to our customers.
You plan and coordinate field meetings in close collaboration with our district managers, taking care of tasks such as booking locations, setting the agenda, and arranging catering facilities.
* Marketing & Coordination
Beyond sales, you will dedicate approximately one day per week to supporting the marketing department. This includes updating our internal Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) based on consumer inquiries and serving as a vital link between the marketing team and external agencies. You will collect insights on emerging trends and consumer feedback to ensure our responses remain accurate and up to date. In addition, you will manage event material stock and coordinate the delivery of free goods to event locations.
