This is a full-time temporary consultancy assignment.

Working Hours and Location
* Standard working hours: Monday to Friday
* Hybrid work model: Minimum 50% on-site presence required, with scheduling to be coordinated with the team
Assignment Context and Objectives
The client organization is undertaking two major strategic initiatives:
* Enhancing enterprise data governance through a dedicated data management program, supported by modern tooling for data platforms, master data management, and data cataloguing.
* Advancing digital transformation within a regulatory and supervisory business domain.
These initiatives are underpinned by modern cloud technologies, with solutions ranging from full cloud-native redesigns to partial system refactoring.
The consultant will play a key role in supporting these transitions by collaborating with enterprise architects, product and project teams, and various IT stakeholders to ensure alignment with architectural standards and strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop a deep understanding of relevant business domains, including data governance, statistical analysis, microdata management, and regulatory supervision.
* Build strong relationships within the IT department.
* Actively participate in project and product teams.
* Design and document solution architectures aligned with the organization’s reference architecture, addressing both data and application layers.
* Produce high-level architecture documentation, technical specifications, and Archimate diagrams.
* Recommend secure, scalable, and resilient technical solutions.
* Oversee implementation and ensure adherence to architectural guidelines.
* Provide strategic advice to stakeholders, balancing business needs with technical feasibility.
* Evaluate and guide decisions between cloud-native, refactored, and hybrid architectural approaches.
Required Technical Expertise
* Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar architectural role, ideally within the financial or public sector.
* Proficiency with enterprise architecture frameworks and tools (TOGAF, Archimate); familiarity with Visual Paradigm is a plus.
* Strong understanding of solution architecture across data, application, and technology layers.
* Broad technical knowledge in application development, cloud infrastructure, IT security, integration, and operations.
* Solid grasp of enterprise data management concepts, including master data management and data mesh architecture.
* Experience with Microsoft Azure services (e.g., Azure Fabric, Data Factory, Datalake Storage, Key Vault, Container Apps, Azure SQL); familiarity with Databricks and Delta Lake is advantageous.
* Ability to assess trade-offs between application-centric and data-centric architectures.
* Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., PMI/PMBOK) and experience in collaborative project environments.
