With approximately 100,000 employees across nearly 40 countries, the organization places innovation, sustainability, and customer satisfaction at the heart of its activities.Their Belgian sites located in Ghlin (main site) and Groot-Bijgaarden produce paper-based packaging solutions using a renewable, natural, and 100% recyclable material.We are looking for a Quality Manager (French/Dutch) for Ghlin & Groot-Bijgaarden who is hands-on, collaborative, customer-oriented, and capable of driving a pragmatic quality approach while fostering a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization.Role purposeDrive on‑site quality and food‑safety performance across both sites by acting as the operational quality lead and customer technical contact. You will ensure compliance with certifications, resolve customer issues, and embed continuous improvement in production and commercial processes.Key responsibilitiesMaintain and improve ISO 9001, FSSC 22000, FSC and related documentation; manage non‑conformities, CAPA and internal/external audits.Serve as the primary quality contact for customers; translate customer requirements into internal actions; support Sales during technical visits.Lead root‑cause analyses (8D, RCA, FMEA), drive corrective actions and present PPM and trend reports to management.Line‑manage the Quality Coordinator; work closely withProduction, Design, Sales and Customer Support to harmonise practices and roll out improvements across sites.Track KPIs (PPM, complaints, audit findings), propose pragmatic process improvements and support certification maintenance.Candidate profileLanguages: fluent French and Dutch; good English.Experience: proven quality experience in a manufacturing or customer‑facing technical role; familiarity with food‑safety standards is a plus.Skills: strong communicator and influencer; hands‑on, pragmatic, analytical and customer‑oriented; able to lead investigations and implement practical fixes.Methodologies: comfortable with 8D, FMEA, RCA and audit processes.Education: Bachelor or Master (engineering preferred) or equivalent industrial experience.Why this role mattersYou will be highly visible across the business, directly influencing product quality, customer relationships and operational performance at two Belgian sites.
