In this role, you take the lead over all global network and connectivity solutions.
You shape the strategy, guide partners, and ensure that every site worldwide stays reliably, securely, and future-proof connected.
Your Responsibilities
Solution Strategy & Governance
* Oversee all network and connectivity solutions: backbone, internet, firewalls, SD-WAN, LAN, WLAN, and network security.
* Define the strategic direction and ensure technologies, standards, and products remain current and compliant.
* Set priorities for network projects and major operational changes.
* Align global stakeholders around design choices, architecture, and rollout plans.
Service Management & Operational Excellence
* Ensure a complete service wrap and 24/7 operational support together with regional teams and MSPs.
* Act as the final escalation point for critical incidents and drive structural, long-term solutions.
* Improve the end-user experience through clear standards and efficient network services.
Vendor & Financial Management
* Manage all external partners and MSPs, including regular performance reviews.
* Oversee contract and SLA management to secure service quality, stability, and cost efficiency.
Who You Are
* You combine a solid technical foundation with strong senior management experience.
* Proven experience leading MSPs and external network partners.
* Skilled in project management with the ability to guide complex global deployments.
* Comfortable with budgets, financial follow-up, and IT service management (ITIL is a plus).
* Strong enterprise networking background is an absolute must: backbone, LAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, internet, and network security.
* Knowledge of Cisco, Check Point, Infoblox (plus), Zscaler (plus), and SD-WAN solutions (Arista is a plus).
* Experienced in global implementations and working within architectural frameworks.
* A clear and confident communicator - able to translate complex technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.
* Resilient, decisive, and focused on end-user satisfaction.
* Fluent in Dutch / English
