About the role :
INNO is urgently looking for an experienced Interim Category Manager (Home&Kids) to join our team for a 3 month assignment at 4 days per week. The right candidate must be immediately available to step into the role, take ownership of a strategic category, lead a team of assistants, and deliver strong results in a dynamic retail environment.
Your Mission
As Interim Category Manager, you will:
* Define and execute category strategies to drive sales, margin, and customer satisfaction.
* Lead, coach, and inspire a team of assistants to deliver operational excellence.
* Analyze customer insights, sales data, and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
* Negotiate with suppliers and build strong, long-term partnerships.
* Manage the full product life cycle
* Collaborate with marketing and sales to deliver impactful campaigns and promotions.
* Continuously monitor performance and optimize assortment, pricing, and positioning.

What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience in category management, buying, or merchandising (retail or FMCG is a plus).
* Previous leadership experience with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
* Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
* Hands-on, proactive, and results-oriented mindset.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Languages: Fluent in French or Dutch and in English;
* Technical skills: Perfect command of Excel; knowledge of an ERP such as SAP is a strong plus.
* Availability: You must be immediately available to start.
