The Commercial & Supply Chain Management (CSCM) function under CLP Power Hong Kong Limited oversees the operating company's circa HKD 20 billion annual expenditure with 1,200 suppliers across 50 categories of spend.
CSCM is responsible for end-to-end procurement and supply chain management across key spend categories and business stakeholders. We are looking for a high caliber and experienced procurement professional to join our team.
Job Overview
The role reports to the Assistant Manager in Procurement Operations - Purchasing Team in CSCM, responsible for executing procurement and category strategies in daily Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process to meet organizational goals. This Hong Kong-based position bridges internal stakeholder needs, supplier management, and procurement innovation. As a dedicated Specialist, you will contribute to optimizing procurement operations, fostering collaboration, and supporting the delivery of impactful outcomes.
Responsibilities
Assist the Purchasing Team in the execution of P2P processes, support MDM and catalogue management activities, and foster collaboration, open communication, and alignment within CSCM and across CLPP.
Assist with supplier onboarding and qualification, ensuring timely integration into procurement operations and supporting seamless processes
Assist with the management of procurement catalogues, ensuring catalogues are up-to-date and aligned with procurement strategies
Support the daily management of purchase orders (POs), ensuring accurate processing and assisting in resolving issues in the order lifecycle
Assist with the execution of supply plans, supporting replenishment and spot-buy activities, ensuring alignment with procurement strategies and operational objectives
Assist in contract setup within Oracle, ensuring contract data is aligned with company standards and operational goals
Support expedited purchase requests, helping to meet urgent needs with efficiency and attention to procurement guidelines
Support sustainability efforts, assisting with responsible procurement practices in alignment with Group standards
Assist in identifying potential supply chain risks, supporting efforts to address and mitigate challenges proactively
Provide general support to suppliers, buyers, and users, answering queries related to the P2P process

Education & Qualifications
Degree: University degree/Master/MBA in Business, Procurement & Supply Chain Management (PSCM), Commerce, Engineering, or related fields
Experience: Minimum 2 years in procurement strategy and category management roles with PSCM expertise
Professional Certificate: Membership and/or qualification from a procurement professional body (e.g. CIPS, ISM or equivalent) would be advantageous
Language: Fluency in English is required; fluency in Cantonese and/or Mandarin is a distinct advantage for working with a diverse set of stakeholders
