As an Embedded Firmware Engineer you develop, engineer and test software for complex, technical applications in different high-tech domains.
In this role, you contribute to solutions for clients in telecom, industrial automation, video/audio processing, and IoT. You will be involved in all phases of the development process – from analysis and design to implementation, testing, and documentation. Thanks to long-term projects, you will have the opportunity to dive deep and work with cutting-edge technology.
What excites you as a Embedded Firmware Engineer?
Based from one of our offices in Belgium and in average 3 days per week at our clients' office you like to keep yourself busy with:
1. Designing and developing low-level and application firmware in C/C++ and Python.
2. Integrating firmware with hardware based on schematics and specifications.
3. Working with microcontrollers (ARM Cortex M) and real-time operating systems like Zephyr.
4. Debugging using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and embedded tools.
5. Optimizing communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, BLE.
6. Applying best practices in firmware development (CI/CD, version control, documentation).
7. Power optimization for battery-powered systems.

Your future workplace
This is what you bring to the table
8. Master degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science.
9. At least 3 years of experience in embedded firmware development.
10. Solid knowledge of C/C++, Python, microcontroller architectures, and embedded tools.
11. You speak Dutch (or are willing to learn it quickly) and English.
12. Familiar with RTOS concepts, multithreading, and hardware interfaces.
13. Experience with CI/CD tools, version control (Git), containerization (Docker), and Linux is a plus.
14. Practical knowledge of electronics, soldering, and debugging tools is an advantage.
