Tasks
We’re looking for a freelance Senior B2B SaaS Marketing Strategist to join our marketing team. Someone who can set direction, build systems, and lead a lean, high-impact marketing team.
As a senior contributor, you’ll bring structure, strategic insight, and technical expertise to complement and elevate the team’s efforts, backed by real-world experience of doing the work yourself. You’ve built marketing engines from scratch, you know what success looks like, and how to get there.
You’ll collaborate closely with our Managing Director, and work with our in-house Marketing Specialist who focuses on execution, while closely collaborating Sales, Customer Success and Product. Your focus will be on bringing clarity, structure, and momentum to our marketing efforts, while being ready to dive in when needed.
Strategy & Planning
* Translate company and commercial priorities into a clear marketing roadmap
* Identify and scope key initiatives that support sales, product, and brand objectives
* Ensure marketing activities remain aligned with evolving business needs
* Improve the current systems to plan, prioritize, and track marketing initiatives
Performance Marketing
* Design, set up, and optimize campaigns across LinkedIn and Google (Ads)
* Recommend and test tactics for lead generation, conversion, and nurturing
* Define KPIs and help translate data into actionable insights and decisions
* Monitor results to refine budget allocation and campaign strategy
Marketing Operations
* Strengthen marketing workflows and automation using tools like HubSpot
* Improve data quality, attribution, and lead lifecycle tracking
* Help maintain and improve our website (Webflow, Analytics)
* Build systems that save time and reduce manual work
Coaching & Collaboration
* Act as a strategic mentor to the in-house B2B Marketing Specialist
* Provide guidance, frameworks, and quality assurance on execution
* Share best practices, templates, and messaging approaches to accelerate team learning
* Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure marketing delivers business value
Requirements
* 5+ years of B2B SaaS marketing experience, ideally in growth-stage or fast-moving environments
* Strong in both strategy and execution — you’ve set the direction and run the campaigns
* Hands-on knowledge of LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads, HubSpot, and Webflow
* Clear communicator who knows how to prioritize and align stakeholders
* Comfortable coaching others while being able to jump in and execute when needed
* Pragmatic, data-driven, and focused on outcomes
