The Civil Engineer will support the delivery of civil and structural works on mission-critical data centre projects. The role involves coordinating site activities, ensuring quality and compliance, and working closely with CSA, MEP, and project teams to deliver works safely, on time, and to specification.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the execution of civil and structural works on data centre construction projects
* Coordinate subcontractors and site activities across earthworks, foundations, drainage, and external works
* Review drawings, specifications, and technical submittals
* Ensure works are delivered in line with programme, quality, and safety standards
* Liaise with design teams, consultants, and internal stakeholders
* Monitor progress, identify risks, and support mitigation strategies
* Ensure compliance with local regulations, codes, and project requirements
* Assist with inspections, testing, and handover documentation
Key Requirements:
* Proven experience in civil engineering within construction projects (data centre experience advantageous)
* Strong understanding of groundworks, concrete structures, and infrastructure works
* Experience working in a fast-paced site environment
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
* Strong coordination and communication skills
Desirable:
* Experience on large-scale or mission-critical projects
* Familiarity with reinforced concrete and structural steel interfaces
* Knowledge of QA/QC processes and site documentation
