Sales & Marketing Director – Benelux
We are looking for a Sales & Marketing Director to lead and drive commercial performance across the Benelux region, with exposure to broader international markets.
This role combines strategic ownership with hands-on execution. You will be responsible for shaping growth, optimizing go-to-market strategies, and building high-performing teams.
Your responsibilities
You define and execute the commercial strategy across the Benelux:
* Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to drive sustainable growth
* Lead forecasting, budgeting, and planning processes
* Ensure strong alignment between sales execution and brand strategy
* Optimize processes, performance tracking, and team effectiveness
You lead and develop teams:
* Drive performance, structure, and accountability within sales and marketing teams
* Coach and mentor key team members, building future leadership capability
* Ensure consistent execution of commercial initiatives across the region
You act as a strategic partner:
* Work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
* Align Benelux priorities with broader international business objectives
* Contribute to long-term strategic planning and market positioning
You bring a strong analytical and market-driven approach:
* Monitor market dynamics, competition, and customer behavior across Benelux
* Translate insights into actionable strategies
* Identify growth opportunities and address commercial bottlenecks
You collaborate across the organization:
* Partner with marketing, medical, HR, and finance
* Support hiring, training, and capability building of commercial teams
* Ensure alignment across all commercial activities and initiatives
Your profile
* 7–10 years of experience in sales and marketing within healthcare / medtech / life sciences
* Strong knowledge of the Benelux healthcare landscape
* Experience within wound care / skin care is a strong plus
* Knowledge of market access and regulatory environments is an advantage
* Proven track record in building and leading high-performing teams
* Strong strategic thinking combined with operational execution
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Fluent in English and Dutch and/or French
