Job Description - Roles and Responsibilities
Job Summary:
For an aviation customer, we are seeking a junior business analyst to join our agile release train. The stakeholders of our customer, such as airline dispatchers or flow managers, work in a technical and demanding environment. Our train is dedicated to delivering an incredible user experience to our internal and external users.
Key Responsibilities:
Comprehensive requirements specifications, process models, and stakeholder analysis reports.
Actionable recommendations for process improvements or system enhancements.
Lead team discussions on business needs and solution design
Technical Competencies:
Ability to capture, articulate and understand technical user requirements.
Proficiency in requirements of elicitation, process modeling (e.g., BPMN, UML), and documentation tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Visio).
Good understanding of data analysis, stakeholder management, and business process optimization.
Proficient in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and requirements management tools.
Knowledge of business analysis frameworks and experience creating detailed use cases, user stories, or acceptance criteria.
Soft Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven problem-solving skills and critical thinking.
Proven collaboration and teamwork experience within agile teams.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
Language Proficiency:
Mastery of the English language is essential, as it is the working language of the train. Candidates must be proficient users at level C1/C2 as defined by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
Knowledge of French is an asset.
