About the Video & Motion Designer for Brand, Social + Product

A Self-Starter: You don't wait for a storyboard; you see a static design or a new product feature and immediately know how it should move.

Adaptable: You can switch from a deep-focus editing session to directing a high-profile testimonial subject with ease.

Detail-Obsessed: You notice the one-frame glitch, the slightly off-brand hex code, or the UI inconsistency that others might miss.

What You’ll Do

• Motion Graphics & Animation: Create engaging 2D/3D motion assets for social media, product launches, and brand campaigns.
• Product Tutorials & Demos: Script, record, and animate high-fidelity product walkthroughs. You will translate complex features into "snackable," easy-to-understand UI animations and demos that drive user adoption.
• Video Editing: Turn raw footage into polished, high-impact stories with a focus on pacing, narrative flow, and sound design.
• Art Direction: Translate our existing design system into the motion world. You’ll ensure that every frame—from typography to color grading is consistent with our brand identity.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and product teams to understand goals and collaborate with designers to bring static assets to life.

Requirements

• Experience: 5+ years in a professional video production or agency role, ideally within a fast-paced startup environment.
• Technical Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, Adobe Express). Familiarity with Figma and screen-capture/demo tools (like Camtasia or ScreenFlow) is preferred.
• Speed & Quality: A proven ability to thrive under tight deadlines while maintaining "pixel-perfect" attention to detail.
• Portfolio: A strong reel demonstrating high-end motion design, clean editing, and a knack for explaining complex products simply.
