We are looking for a senior Enterprise Architect to help shape the long-term technology strategy, guide digital transformation, and ensure the organisation's systems and data landscape evolve coherently. You will work closely with leadership, architects, analysts and technical teams to design an application and integration architecture that supports current and future business goals.
What you'll do
* Drive company-level architecture discussions and translate strategic decisions into clear technology implications.
* Maintain the enterprise architecture roadmap, principles and standards across applications, data and integrations.
* Design scalable, secure and cost-effective solutions in collaboration with business and IT teams.
* Map the application landscape and define how core systems interact through APIs, integration frameworks and data flows.
* Define modern integration patterns (ETL/ELT, APIs, service bus, event streaming) across on-prem and cloud environments.
* Guide lifecycle management, including platform modernisation and cloud-migration strategies.
* Work closely with stakeholders to convert business needs into architectural requirements and decision-ready options.
* Communicate architectural decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency.
* Identify risks related to architecture, data, security or compliance and propose pragmatic mitigation measures.
What are we looking for?
* You have at least
10 years of experience in enterprise and solution architecture roles.
* You bring strong hands-on experience designing large-scale application and integration landscapes.
* You work confidently with
UML
,
ArchiMate
, and
TOGAF
standards in enterprise contexts.
* You design hybrid cloud architectures and understand how to balance
on-prem and cloud
capabilities.
* You implement integration patterns using
APIs, service bus technologies, ETL/ELT flows and data-exchange frameworks.
* You collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders and can explain complex architectural choices in simple, business-friendly terms.
* You provide clear architectural governance and can help define operating models and role expectations.
* You are fluent in
Dutch OR French
, and have an active working knowledge of English.
