Financial Inventory & Closing Reviewer

Why this role matters
You'll play a critical role in ensuring timely, compliant financial reporting by owning inventory and intercompany reconciliations, strengthening SOX controls, and partnering closely with local and HQ finance teams. Your work directly supports accurate month-end and quarter-end close outcomes.
What you'll be doing
* Prepare, review, and approve qualitative reconciliations in line with the Blackline matrix
* Monitor monthly reconciliations between inventory systems and SAP financial accounting
* Ensure accurate accounting and reporting for intercompany and trade entity movements
* Actively participate in month-end and quarter-end close and closing meetings
* Ensure internal controls and SOX requirements are completed on time and documented
* Serve as a key point of contact for external auditors
* Identify and drive process improvement initiatives through to implementation
* Support audits, SOX testing action plans, and compliance reporting
* Participate in or lead finance projects tied to new processes or business changes
* Support trade-abroad reporting related to pharmaceutical activities
What you bring
* University or bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field (preferred)
* At least 2 years of relevant experience
* Strong general accounting knowledge (US GAAP or IFRS)
* Advanced Excel skills and solid proficiency with Microsoft tools
* Ability to work effectively in a complex, fast-changing environment
* Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills
* Proven ability to collaborate across countries, functions, and senior leadership
* SAP experience is a plus
* Self-motivated, proactive, organized, and adaptable
