About the Role
This position offers a unique opportunity for a motivated individual to grow professionally while contributing to investment analysis, project management, and market research. You’ll collaborate closely with our investment and operations team, gaining hands-on experience in natural capital investment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Investment Analysis: Support cash flow, IRR projections, and scenario analysis for land purchase decisions.
* Investment Management: Assist in designing and delivering quarterly/annual reports covering financial, climate, and community outcomes.
* Market Research: Conduct in-depth research on the Voluntary Carbon Market (VCM) and competitor analysis.
* Sales Support: Manage CRM tools and support the Sales team ahead of major events.
* Strategic Assistance: Provide operational and strategic support to our leadership team.
What We’re Looking For

Required Skills:
* Advanced use of Microsoft Applications (Word, Powerpoint, Excel).
* Previous academic or work exposure to modelling in Excel.
* Fluency in English (written and spoken).
* Ability to work autonomously and diligently in remote settings.
* Familiarity with Google Suite, amongst other remote working tools.
* Theoretical understanding of financial concepts such as IRR, NPV, and discount rates.
Desired Skills (Not Mandatory):
* Working knowledge of Spanish and/or Portuguese is a strong plus. German and/or French is a nice-to-have.
* Experience in a startup environment is a plus.
* Experience with financial analysis and/or CRM platforms.
* Familiarity with GIS tools (e.g., QGIS, ArcGIS) or coding (e.g., Python, VBA, R).
* Understanding of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet) & project finance reporting.
* Knowledge of the voluntary carbon market is highly desirable.
* Knowledge of natural climate solutions is highly desirable.
