Our client, a major public sector organization, is embarking on a high-criticality IT transformation project spanning three years and involving over 100 contributors. This strategic program focuses on rewriting complex business applications for financial and collection services, integrating ERP-like accounting modules and workflow systems.
The role involves establishing and leading the PMO Office to ensure robust governance, coordination, and quality across all project deliverables.
Establish and operate the PMO Office framework, defining processes for planning, reporting, risk management, and decision-making.
Structure and facilitate governance committees, including Steering Committees, to report on KPIs, budget, and project progress.
Develop and maintain the global program schedule, tracking milestones and critical inter-team dependencies.
Facilitate complex workshops between business and IT stakeholders to define requirements and ensure formal validation.
Implement a requirements management framework to ensure full traceability from business needs to technical development and UAT.
Act as a central interface between business experts and IT teams to align expectations and resolve conflicts.
Maintain high documentation standards, ensuring all project artifacts are versioned, consistent, and validated.
What are we looking for?
You bring 8+ years of experience in PMO or Project Management within large-scale organizational environments.
You possess expert-level knowledge of Prince2, Waterfall, and Agile Scrum methodologies.
You have 8+ years of experience in Project Monitoring, Strategic Management, and Risk Mitigation.
You bring 8+ years of experience in Workshop Animation and facilitating communication between business and technical stakeholders.
You're an expert in Jira and Confluence for project tracking and documentation.
You possess a strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and quality assurance processes.
You have experience with SAFe or other scaled agile frameworks in complex program environments.
You possess strong analytical skills and the ability to coach others in PMO best practices.
You are native in French or Dutch with an active knowledge of English.
Nice to Haves
Experience with ERP-type applications or financial accounting software.
Specific experience within public sector IT transformation projects.
