Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Automation DevOps Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automation solutions using Ansible. The role is centered on improving the efficiency, reliability, and consistency of IT infrastructure across multiple customer environments. You will collaborate closely with IT teams, contribute to standardization efforts, and support continuous improvement through documentation, troubleshooting, and best‑practice governance.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain Ansible playbooks and roles to automate IT processes.
* Work closely with cross‑functional IT teams and lead workshops to identify automation needs and enhance overall system performance.
* Document analysis findings and collaborate with Automation Designers to ensure consistent automation standards across customers.
* Ensure IT infrastructure performance and integrity through effective automation solutions.
* Prepare and maintain documentation related to Ansible development, processes, and best practices.
* Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to Ansible automation implementations.
* Participate in code reviews and maintain version control standards across Ansible repositories.
Scope of the Role
This position focuses on end‑to‑end automation delivery using Ansible within diverse IT ecosystems. It involves:
* Developing scalable and reusable automation assets
* Enhancing infrastructure consistency across environments
* Ensuring adherence to automation standards and governance
* Supporting continuous improvement through documentation and proactive problem‑solving
Required Qualifications
* 8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure.
* 4+ years of hands‑on experience with Ansible automation (Windows, Linux, databases such as MSSQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and system integrations).
* Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components and configuration principles.
* Experience with Git or other version‑control systems.
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with high attention to detail.
* Excellent collaboration and communication abilities.
* English level: C1 or higher.
