Job description

In light of our scaling-up, we are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Marketing Manager to join our dynamic team in Belgium. Your main task will be implementing the marketing strategy as set out by the management, with a strong focus on digital marketing (SEO, website, Google ads). You’ll be working closely with the CEO and Sales team, building a trusted brand in the surveying and drone mapping industry, and using digital marketing to support sustainable growth.

This position requires both strategic ownership and hands-on execution. You’ll use your digital marketing skills to drive consistent and qualified leads, and make Virtual Surveyor a known and recognized brand in the surveying industry. You’ll analyze the marketing and sales data to see what works and to continually optimize marketing performance. You’ll report these findings on a regular basis to the CEO.

Responsibilities

* Lead generation: optimize SEO, set up Google ad-campaigns, improve lead quality.
* Digital marketing: update the website, create engaging content for our social media accounts, send out customer mailings, organize webinars and online demo sessions.
* Brand development: develop the product as a known and trusted brand and maintain a unified “voice” across the market, encourage advocacy in surveying community.
* Brand awareness: implement strategies to increase visibility and top-of-mind awareness within the target audience.
* Brand consistency: act as a “brand champion”, ensuring all touchpoints – from tradeshow to email signatures – adhere to brand guidelines.
* Press & PR: successfully communicate product value, features and innovations to target markets.
* Marketing materials: event preparation (booth design, brochures, banners, clothing, …).
* Event management: manage and maintain the company trade show calendar, in collaboration with the Sales team.
* Budget ownership & reporting: allocate and adjust marketing budget to maximize returns, track marketing metrics and performance, monthly reporting to CEO.
* Partner marketing: build and support reseller and partner marketing programs, including co-marketing opportunities and joint event participation.

Requirements


Skills

* Proven marketing skills in a similar industry (technology/software/land surveying)
* Extensive knowledge of digital marketing (SEO, Google Ads)
* Experience with managing a budget
* Tech-savviness and a keen interest in software and technology
* Knowledge of the land surveying industry
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Curiosity and a hands-on approach
* Ownership
* Perfect English language skills, knowledge of a second language is an advantage
