Telenet is the leading Telco provider in Flanders with a portfolio of 3M clients in internet, telephone, mobile and digital television.
The company is organized in an agile lay-out with major units (called “tribes”), composed of teams.
This function is situated in the Product Journey Tribe which includes the tooling for network design, product activation (OSS), customer appointment planning, location intelligence (GIS), logical inventory support, network monitoring and representation as well as product journey design.
We focus on the appointment journey for our customers' in-home services and maintaining network quality. In collaboration with our partners, we deliver solutions to provision and activate services by technicians. We work closely with architects, business, and process analysts to design reliable and scalable solutions.
We interact on a daily basis with the onshore and offshore analysts, developers and testers from our IT delivery partner, to ensure timely delivery of high quality and sustainable solutions.
Your responsibilities :
1. You support the Product Owner of the team to build a roadmap for the application landscape owned by the team, present and align the roadmap with stakeholders, and manage dependencies with other teams.
2. You critically translate business needs or questions into functional and non-functional requirements on “epic” level. You challenge requirements and assures that important requirements are not missed. You secure that the requirements lead to generic, sustainable, future-oriented, maintainable and user-friendly IT solutions.
3. You take active ownership of initiatives, drive and coordinate with stakeholders, partners and other teams. You support the business or product owner in building business cases/ manage stakeholders to enforce decision-making and resolve conflicts and issues. You ensure alignment with all involved stakeholders and cross-domains and that all necessary information is at hand and prior alignments are performed to prioritize efficiently.
4. You work closely with the software architects, have knowledge of and contribute to the architecture of the application landscape to develop overall solution designs. You act as a “bridging figure” and coordinate well with the business and technical stakeholders (internal or external), keeping the end-to-end solution in mind.
5. You co-create with, coach and challenge the on- and offshore analysts, developers and testers of our IT delivery partner in such a way that the scope is preserved, requirements and solutions are detailed out in consistently on “story” level and that the functionalities are tested and deliver customer value.
6. You monitor the quality, consistency, scalability and development of applications in order to optimize utility and costs. You present proposals for improvements, feed backlog in order to support efficient prioritization.
7. You challenge our IT delivery partner (in consultation with the technical stakeholders) to design and implement the best possible, concrete, sustainable solutions that are in line with the application philosophy and/or possibilities for “commercial of the shelf” (COTS). You write and maintain coherent IT processes, requirements, documentation, scripts and/or knowledge management.
8. As an application owner you will be the single point of contact (SPOC) for the application, ensuring its smooth operation and driving continuous improvement.
Our ideal candidate :
9. You have a master's or bachelor's degree with over 5 -7 years of IT experience, ideally in telco or utility sectors.
10. You have a proven expertise of at least 3 years as a business analyst or consultant, with a strong track record in analysing and designing information systems, especially for integration projects (API). Experience as a developer/software engineer is a plus. You have experience in coordinating work with external vendors and partners.
11. You are a strong communicator, adept at tailoring language to different audiences. You have an excellent knowledge of English; Dutch is a plus.
12. You work in a structured and meticulous way, with a keen eye for detail without losing the big picture and have strong analytical skills, conceptual thinking, and pragmatism.
13. You are capable of working independently, taking initiative, and seeking help when needed.
14. You are passionate about agile methodologies (scrum), fostering teamwork among analysts, developers, and testers.
15. You are available to work from Telenet Office at least two days a week
