The role requires a fast-moving, dynamic, finance-driven leader who thrives in complexity, brings strong analytical and commercial insight, and can influence across a large, matrixed organization. /p pThe role is primarily focused on Belgium, with support oversight for Luxembourg, currently managed as part of the BeLux model. /p pThis position balances strong financial governance and compliance with a forward-looking, performance-driven mindset, supporting Adecco’s operational excellence, transformation agenda, and long-term value creation. /p h3What you’ll be doing /h3 h3Strategic Finance Business Leadership /h3 ul liAct as trusted financial partner to the CFO Northern Europe, Eastern Europe, Middle East Africa and local leadership in Belgium /li liTranslate The Adecco Group financial strategy into local execution and policy; Translate Adecco GBU’s global and local strategy into a clear financial roadmap and execution /li liProvide insight on profitability, solvency, liquidity, risks, and opportunities /li liSupport strategic initiatives, investments, and transformation projects /li liEnsure proactive (financial) steering rather than purely backward-looking (financial) reporting /li /ul h3Financial Operations Governance /h3 ul liEnd-to-end responsibility for financial administration, payroll, and associate invoicing /li liEnsure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting in line with Group policy /li liMaintain relationships with external stakeholders (tax authorities, banks, auditors, …) /li liAssess business performance and results against both the annual budget, competitors’ relative performance, and the company’s long-term strategy. /li liProactively identify and communicate areas for financial value improvement; Ensure strong internal controls, compliance to (Group) standards, and financial discipline /li liDrive efficiencies in the monthly and quarterly closing cycle, including driving a globally driven faster close process /li /ul h3Performance Management Continuous Improvement /h3 ul liMonitor and improve financial processes, data quality and reporting effectiveness /li liIdentify bottlenecks and translate them into concrete process or policy improvements /li liDrive efficiency, standardization and alignment across local finance and non-finance departments /li liParticipate actively in cross-functional, local and corporate projects, including but not limited to implementation of new systems to support the transformation agenda /li /ul h3People Leadership Collaboration /h3 ul libLead, coach and develop the Finance and Administration teams /b, comprising approximately b20 FTE /b in Finance and b75 FTE /b in Administration, ensuring strong engagement, performance, and delivery across the organisation. /li liBuild and sustain a high‑performance culture, fostering accountability, collaboration and continuous development across teams. /li liBuild a transparent information flow and clear activity planning within the department /li liAlign Finance activities closely with local and global operations, HR, sales, and other functions /li liServe as a role model for collaboration, professionalism, and ethical conduct /li liManage and develop collaboration with Global Business Services /li liCreate an inclusive work environment for all members in the finance organization, both in the direct line as well as in the ecosystem (e.g.; SSC) /li /ul h3Matrix Stakeholder Management /h3 ul liOperate effectively within a complex matrix environment /li liInfluence without formal authority and manage competing priorities /li liCommunicate clearly and confidently with senior stakeholders, both in- and outside country /li /ul h3About you /h3 h3Experience Qualifications /h3 ul liMinimum 10 years of relevant leadership experience in Finance, with demonstrated success in complex, global, or multinational organizations.
