For one of our major clients in Belgium, we are looking for an IT Workplace Officer to support end users and contribute to workplace IT operations across multiple sites.

In this role, you will provide first‐ and second‐line support, maintain IT equipment, and actively participate in workplace-related IT projects, with a strong on‐site presence. Key responsibilities IT Support Provide first-line and second-line support to end users Support Windows-based applications (MS Office, browsers, collaboration tools) and Android devices Deliver on-site IT support to Belgian users, mainly in Flanders, and occasionally in other regions depending on language skills Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on laptops, printers, and peripheral devices Workplace Operations & Systems Install and configure PCs and manage Windows systems Install and maintain business applications Maintain and replace IT workplace equipment Ensure proper documentation and follow IT processes and standards Project Support & Mobility Support workplace IT projects such as: Migrations Windows upgrades Deployment of new software Renewal of computer equipment Travel to different operational sites across Belgium as part of daily activities Provide hands-on support during rollouts and on-site interventions IT Expertise & Innovation Participate in the technological follow-up for new workplace products (e.g. smartphones, tablets) Provide technical expertise in workplace-related IT projects Work model & availability On-site role with frequent travel in Belgium, mainly in the Flemish region Valid driver's license is mandatory Required profile & skills Proven experience in IT support / workplace support Strong interest in IT and new technologies Eager to learn and develop technical skills Service-oriented mindset with strong communication skills Well organized, autonomous, and able to manage priorities independently Team player, comfortable working in an international and virtual environment Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work autonomously Languages Dutch: C1 English: C1 French: B1 What can Econocom offer you?
