Job Purpose
We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Account Manager / Sales Representative specializing in dental implant workflows who excels not only in driving sales but also in supporting the complete patient journey. The ideal candidate has a forward-thinking digital mindset to have a deep understanding of our integrated digital workflows involved—from patient acceptance and data capturing, through surgical coordination, to the delivery of the final prosthetics. This position reports to the Area Sales Manager and will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and growing our existing customers, prospecting and introducing new customers to build our business and to meet or exceed sales objectives by developing profitable relationships with targeted hospitals, dental practices, dental laboratories and the dental community at large. This requires an ability to build relationships with customers, proactively identify the solutions they need, and think commercially.
Within Straumann’s sales team, digital solutions are important tools to offer our customers a complete sales service. Our digital solutions can be found, among others, in hospitals, dental practices, private clinics and dental laboratories. In the Straumann Account Manager position, we focus on supporting our customers in their daily work as best we can.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
1. Drive Sales: Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in the assigned territory to generate new business for the organizations products/Services.
2. End-to-End Workflow Management: Support and guide clients through the entire workflow, ensuring smooth coordination from initial patient acceptance and diagnostic data capture to surgery and final prosthetic delivery.
3. Client Education: Educate dental professionals on the benefits, applications, and clinical aspects of dental implant products and digital workflows.
4. Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with dental professionals and clinics to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
5. Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (clinical, technical, marketing) to ensure seamless delivery of products and services.
6. Market Insights: Analyzes the territory potential and determines the value of existing and prospective customers value to the organization.
7. Makes telephone calls and in-person visits and gives presentations to existing and prospective customers. Participates in trade shows and conventions.
8. Develops clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers.
9. Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints.
10. Utilization of Customer Relationship Management Software and Prospecting software to enable identification and progress of customer interactions.
11. Plans and organizes personal sales strategy by maximizing the Return on Time investment for the territory and meets quotas for production on a daily/weekly/monthly basis.
12. Supplies management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
Qualifications
13. Field sales/account management experience.
14. Dental Practice or digital dentistry background is an advantage.
15. Must have excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
16. Digitally enabled.
17. Must have good computer skills (Microsoft Office – Word/Excel).
18. Language skills Dutch (native) & English.
19. Must be a team player.
