Job Responsibilities
As a Software Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, testing and improving software applications for our advanced production and testing machines. You will work closely with colleagues from different disciplines to realize innovative solutions.
Your responsibilities include
1. Creating, maintaining, auditing, and improving software programs based on the requirements (configuration files), and testing both hardware and software systems to detect and fix errors
2. Writing programs and designing and coding software for production equipment and machines
3. Making recommendations for future developments when necessary
4. Integration of software with hardware componentsSupport for commissioning and troubleshooting on site.
Profile Description
5. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electromechanics, Industrial Sciences, Computer Science, or a similar field.
6. Demonstrable experience with programming in C#, C, C++.
7. Experience with Omron or B&R automation systems.
8. Knowledge of industrial networks, PLCs and motion control
9. Strong analytical skills and a solution-oriented attitude.
10. Good communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus).
