Task Responsibilities:
* Implement and deliver cost effective cargo and ramp handling service to agreed scope, standards and carrier satisfaction
* Ensure safety and security of cargo and ramp handling activities is in compliance with relevant legislative and industry requirements
* Monitor turnaround plan to support On Time performance for all Cargolux flights/trucks (minimize delays of aircraft and trucks)
* Coordinate internally and externally cargo and ramp handling services with Ground Handling Agent (GHA), Luxembourg HUB Operations, Maintenance, Flight
* Dispatch, Network Management, Fuel and Catering company to ensure service delivery
* Monitor aircraft handling operations
* Maintain proper Station records
* Assure effective communication with departments within Cargolux and GHA LUX
Essential Requirements For The Position:
* General school leaving certificate of secondary education or equivalent (e.g. A-Level, BAC, Abitur)
* At least 3 years of experience in a similar position or previous exposure to Import, Export, Global Logistics or equivalent would be considered as a distinct advantage
* Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook), advanced knowledge of Excel would be considered as a distinct advantage
* Action orientated; having the ability to take on new challenges with a sense of urgency
* Dealing effectively with complexity and having good problem solving skills
* Relating openly and comfortably with diverse groups of people
* Being able to take decisions within tight deadlines
* Feeling comfortable to work in a team as well as autonomously
* Being assertive
* Fluency in written and spoken English and French, other languages are a distinct advantage
Working Conditions:
* Position based in Luxembourg
* Willing to work on shifts 24/7/365
* Possess a valid driving license
* A Certificate of good conduct (Casier judiciaire, Polizeiliches Führungszeugnis) will be required in case of positive selection
* The successful candidate will have to obtain a valid medical fitness certificate for the job issued by the Company doctor prior to the start of the employment
