At Logitech we are seeking a senior public policy leader to shape and drive the company’s global policy and government affairs strategy. This role will lead engagement on key issues including sustainability, global trade, supply chain regulation, AI, data privacy, and consumer protection across major markets such as the EU, US, APAC, and China. Partnering closely with executive leadership and cross‑functional teams, the successful candidate will monitor evolving regulatory landscapes, develop strategic policy roadmaps, and represent Logitech with policymakers, regulators, and industry coalitions. This role plays a critical part in ensuring Logitech’s voice is represented in global policy discussions while proactively identifying regulatory risks and opportunities that support long‑term business strategy.

Strategic Policy Leadership
Define and own Logitech's global public policy strategy across sustainability, global trade, supply chain regulation, AI, data privacy and consumer protection.
Monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory developments across key markets (EU, China, APAC, US), providing proactive, business-focused guidance to senior leadership on risks and opportunities.
Develop multi‑year policy roadmaps in collaboration with the CEO, CLO, Head of Global Communications, Head of Operations and Head of Sustainability.
Government Relations & Advocacy
Create proactive engagement strategies and cultivate relationships with elected officials, regulators, trade associations, and multilateral organizations relevant to Logitech's business, including facilitating meetings with appropriate members of Logitech leadership to advance policy priorities.
Lead direct engagement with policymakers on priority issues and facilitate input from teams across Logitech, including engineering, legal and sustainability, for comment or input on pending regulation.
Manage external public affairs consultants and government relations partners to stay current on global policy shifts and to amplify Logitech's policy voice.
Represent Logitech in industry coalitions and working groups, helping shape collective industry positions.
Cross-Functional Partnership & Communications
Partner with Global Communications to develop public-facing narratives that position Logitech leadership as credible voices on priority initiatives including sustainability, AI, and technology policy.
Partner with Chief Compliance Officer to proactively manage business compliance efforts with pending regulation.
Ensure Logitech executives are prepared and well represented at relevant policy events and conferences.
Provide proactive and clear updates to Logitech leadership and board of directors on the evolving regulatory landscape and its strategic implications.
Team Building & Budget Management
Manage the policy and government affairs budget, including external counsel and consulting engagements.
Establish metrics and reporting to demonstrate the impact and ROI of the policy function.
Build cross functional support for input and engagement on policy matters from across the Logitech team.
Key Qualifications
Required
12+ years of progressive experience in EU and/or global public policy, government affairs, or regulatory strategy, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complex policy issues into clear, actionable, business-focused recommendations for executives.
Established experience with policymakers, regulators, and trade association leaders in the EU and internationally.
Experience managing external firms and government affairs consultants.
Ability to navigate ambiguity and competing priorities in a fast‑paced, global organization.
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (JD, MPP, MBA, or equivalent) strongly preferred.
Preferred
Prior government experience or experience in a regulatory agency.
Background in hardware, consumer electronics, or enterprise collaboration technology.
Familiarity with the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) Code of Conduct and similar industry standards.
Prior experience with technology-oriented regulation and working directly with engineers and other technical experts.
