SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER - LEUVEN (BELGIUM) - PERMANENT POSITIONAbout the Role:We are looking for an experienced and proactive Supply Chain Manager to lead our supply chain operations and team. In this hands-on role, you will manage a small team (3-6 people) and be deeply involved in the daily execution of supply chain activities, while also driving continuous improvement in planning, sourcing, logistics, and operations.You will serve as a key point of contact with suppliers, oversee forecasting and production planning, and play a critical role in reducing lead times, scaling volumes, and supporting new customer onboarding. Key Responsibilities:Lead, coach, and develop a team of 3–6 supply chain professionals in procurement, logistics, and planningMaintain direct relationships with key suppliers to manage performance, negotiate pricing, and resolve issuesExecute and optimize purchase orders, delivery schedules, and inventory replenishmentDrive continuous improvement in lead times, supply reliability, and cost efficiencyPartner with Sales and Operations to manage accurate demand forecasts and production plansSupport onboarding of new customers by ensuring supply readiness, material availability, and scalable logisticsMonitor and report on supply chain KPIs (e.g., OTIF, inventory turns, lead time, forecast accuracy)Play a central role in the S&OP process—aligning supply and demand, identifying risks, and recommending mitigation plansCollaborate with Finance on cost control and budgeting initiativesAssist in scaling operations to support increasing volumes and expanding marketsRequirements:5+ years of experience in supply chain management or operations, including team leadershipStrong background in hands-on supply chain execution—procurement, planning, inventory management, and logisticsProven experience in supplier management, including negotiation and performance trackingProficient in forecasting tools, ERP systems, and Excel/Google SheetsExperience participating in or leading S&OP processesExcellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environmentThe Offer:A permanent, full-time employment contractA salary & benefits package commensurate with experiencePlease send over your CV to tom.walker@vividresourcing.com or call me on +32 (0) 3 318 00 74.
