Our client is one of the world's largest automobile manufacturers and a leading global company. For their site in Diest, they are looking for a Site Operations Specialist. This concerns a short-term assignment of a few months. Period still needs to be decided, with a possibility for extension.
What does this position entitle. You will:
* Ensure safe yard operations, efficient shunting (yard/dock), processes improvement and accurate admin in collaboration with contractorsEnsure smooth operations and admin with the team:
* Booking - extra/ad hoc requests: all non-standard requests (inbound flow)
* Container management : plan arrival of containers on daily basis
* Admin for outbound flow (documentation), customs admin
* Collaborate with K&N (admin & shunt contractor), GTS (shunt sub-contractor)
* Daily OPS control
* KN KPI control
* Follow up yard operations
* Safety KPIs/Driver KPIs
* Yard regular checks
* Project management
* Yard projects support
* Safety projects support
* Small projects lead
* Contribute to process improvement
* Kaizen action plan
* Daily tasks efficiency
Jouw profiel
Who are we looking for?
* You have a Bachelor diploma or equivalent due to experience
* You have operational experinece (warehouse/logistics for example as a planner)
* Warehouse operations knowledge
* Site Operations knowledge
* Logistics knowledge (incl admin)
* Dutch is a plus, English is a mist
* You lust have a very good knowledge of Excel. Knowledge of Power BI is a plus
