*About the job:*
Based in Mons, Belgium, you will join the Agency as we embark on a journey to transform our Information Technology services to support NATO's Digital Transformation. You will join the NATO Digital Workplace Centre (NDWC), which is responsible for the Digital Workplace, covering operational NATO services, across all content classifications and security domains, for desktop computing, mail, instant messaging, video teleconference (VTC), content services platforms, telephony, printing and mobility services. NDWC responsibilities also cover the support of digital events, meetings and large-scale conferences for both the Agency and NATO stakeholders. NDWC also has the responsibility for driving the future roadmaps of these services across the NATO Enterprise to enable a NATO Digital Workplace through new services.
We are looking for driven and enthusiastic VTC Engineers who will take on the following roles and responsibilities:
* Perform service continuity improvement tasks on the NATO voice & VTC infrastructures;
* Support innovation efforts related to voice and video conferencing technology;
* Work with the project management team and provides technical support to projects to enhance and improve the existing infrastructure and services;
* Plan, test and carry out routine configuration and maintenance operations within the voice and VTC domains;
* Mentor and/or coach team members on new voice and VTC technologies or features.

*About you:*
The valuable knowledge and experience that you bring to this role are:
* Bachelor's degree at a nationally recognised/certified University in a related discipline and 2 years post-related experience. Or exceptionally, the lack of a university degree may be compensated by the demonstration of a candidate's particular abilities or experience that is/are of interest to NCIA, that is, at least 6 years extensive and progressive expertise in duties related to the function of the post;
* At least 2 years' experience designing, implementing, managing, and optimizing collaboration tools and platforms within a digital ecosystem of an organization;
* Experience deploying collaboration and secure VTC platforms (such as Cisco, Poly, and Crestron systems; TACLANE-integrated solutions);
* Proven experience in the configuration and operation of Voice and VTC core systems and end devices;
* Proven experience in deployment and configuration of security features in the voice and VTC domains (TLS, PKI, IPSec, etc.);
* Excellent troubleshooting skills with a methodical approach to resolving QoS and technical issues in transport technologies supporting complex IP networks;
* Excellent knowledge of SIP, H.323 and PSTN signalling protocols;
* Good working knowledge of virtualization and cloud technologies;
* Experience providing end users support;
* Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
Note that the work is conducted mainly on site in Mons, Belgium.
