We are looking for a SAP BPC Consultant to our private sector client base, specifically in Brussels.
Job Description
We are seeking a SAP BPC Consultant to support our SAP BI product within our client product organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for all technical-related questions. You will work with the product team and key users to identify and implement the best solution to serve the customer.
The candidate has several years of practical professional experience in group consolidation, reporting and accounting. In addition to the technical understanding of SAP BPC for consolidation and planning, a functional and business understanding of group consolidation is required. User knowledge of SAP BPC usage and implementation is required. Experience with other solutions such as Group Reporting is desirable. You will work on prioritized activities within the product from requirements management, including technical implementation, up to go live. Active consultancy in requirement management is required, ensuring sustainability and maintainability of technical solutions alongside customer needs. As part of a product team you will be responsible for the further technical evolution of the consolidation solution within our BI landscape (including SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP BO).
As an SAP BPC developer you will handle the following tasks:
* Ensuring the functionality and continuous development of the group consolidation and reporting system
* Managing stakeholders and consulting departments on system-related issues
* Implementation of SAP BPC requirements for the client
* Build SAP BPC model and dimension
* Perform SAP BPC system configuration such as process flows and business rules
* Write code in Script Logic and ABAP for extended logic implementation
* Documentation of developments and handover of development results
* Perform data analysis to ensure data quality
* Requirements analysis and participation in creating requirement specifications, test support and transport of developments to productive systems
* Authorization management, analysis and definition of necessary authorizations, coordinating with the authorization team
Qualifications
* Expert in SAP BPC
* Extensive experience in corporate consolidation, controlling and group accounting, with deep SAP BPC knowledge
* Extensive knowledge of financial consolidation processes
* Good knowledge of financial reporting (IFRS) and internal management reporting
* Good accounting knowledge is desirable
* Good knowledge of SAP BW/HANA
